IVF Leave

At Monash IVF Group, we understand and recognise the physical and emotional impact involved with fertility treatment and therefore have introduced an entitlement of up to five (5) days of paid leave in any 12-month period to eligible employees, for the purpose of receiving and/or recovering from IUI or IVF treatment.

Parental & Partner Leave

Monash IVF Group enjoys watching our employees grow their families and we support all employees with family responsibilities. We are committed to promoting equal opportunity and equity in employment.

We have parental and partner leave provisions to support birth and adoptive parents. This includes parental leave for a birth parent or an adoptive parent who is entitled to either paternity or adoption leave for a continuous period of paid and/or unpaid leave for 52 weeks this includes a paid leave of up 10 weeks for primary carer (SGC is paid on any primary carer payment).

An employee, whose spouse (including a de facto spouse or same sex spouse) is giving birth to a child, or is becoming a parent via surrogate, or is adopting a child, is entitled to four (4) weeks of paid partner’s leave.

Our Pride Network

The Monash IVF Group Pride Network is about creating and recognising our community within Monash IVF Group and is available to employees and partners who identify as LGBTIQA+ or allies.

LGBTIQA+ people can be lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, gender diverse, agender, intersex, queer, questioning, asexual, aromantic, and many other identities. Allies are those who want to support their LGBTIQA+ colleagues. The Pride Network welcomes employees of all cultural, ethnic and religious backgrounds and employees of all abilities. Being a part of the Pride Network ensures you have a safe space to discuss topics, arrange events or connect with other LGBTIQA+ Monash IVF Group employees and allies.

Our Pride Network is committed to ensuring that our Company continues to provide a supportive and affirming environment for our LGBTQEA+ employees and their families.

Recent initiatives include the development and launch of our Gender Affirmation Guide, celebrations across the business of WorldPride Month, and participation in the Midsumma Carnival in Melbourne.

Learning & Development

Career and personal development is important to us at Monash IVF Group.

As employees join Monash IVF Group, their learning and development begins by aligning them within our Learning and Development Framework. Each framework pathway is designed to support all employees in performing to the highest industry standard within their specialised role.

As an employee’s journey continues at Monash IVF Group, professional and career development is encouraged through our Learning and Development opportunities. If identified as a future leader, or aspiring to take a step into leadership, framework pathways can lead you to management roles, including future aspiring executive positions.

Learning and Development at Monash IVF Group starts with the First Trimester Orientation. This is a collaborative program designed to provide a thorough induction. Training is supported by our Performance Development and Review process which is designed to assist each individual in becoming fully competent with all technical aspects of their role.

PhD Scholarship Program

Monash IVF recognises the importance of scientific innovation and contribution to the scientific community, as well as developing the capabilities of its employees.

Monash IVF provides sponsorship for PhD projects within the field of reproductive science that will be undertaken at approved tertiary institutions within Australia. Sponsorship of each project includes associated research costs up to $120,000 for the length of the project

Both full time (up to 4 years) and part time (up to 8 years) enrolment will be considered for this Scholarship Program.
